THE BEST ACTION FROM OVER
500 VIDEOTAPED BATTLES

Over a period of three years, Visual Ventures videotaped fishermen on the Kenai River as they battled this giant fish. Over 500 of these battles were recorded on 180 hours of videotape. With so much action to choose from, there are scenes which range from exciting to spectacular, from informative to hilarious and from strange to just plain weird. Aside from being very entertaining, this video informs the viewer of:

WHEN & WHERE TO GO FOR THE KENAI KING

HOW TO FISH FOR THE KENAI KING

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE KENAI KING

The action includes various aspects of fishing for this great fish, such as boat manuevering techniques(you don't pull these fish in, you follow them), netting techniques(you could be pulled overboard by a fish weighing 70 pounds), bonking methods(quieting the fish so it doesn't beat your boat or fellow fishermen up), and you will see the various methods these fish use to get away.

The world record king salmon was caught in the Kenai River. It weighed 94pounds 7ozs. A few 90 pounders have been caught and they usually make the news. A few 80 pounders are usually caught each year. The Kenai king averages about 50 pounds, so the chance of catching a big fish is pretty good when fishing in the Kenai River.

This video is unique in that there was so much video to choose from, so all the action is real action, no filler. The people who will enjoy this video include just about anybody. It's entertaining enough to keep the interest of non-fishermen, and it answers enough questions, that even the avid or expert fisherman will benefit from viewiing
